A new survey of American opinion shows that Americans increasingly disapprove of Trump’s handling of the situation in Iran.
It found that 53% of American adults disapprove of Trump’s handling of Iran.

That was an increase of about 9 percentage points from a similar poll that ran in the middle of December.
Americans who “strongly disapprove” of Trump’s actions in Iran (39%) is up 10 points from December. The numbers show Trump’s belligerent and incoherent strategy in the Middle East is losing support.

Most of the rising disapproval came from Democrats and independent voters, Reuters reported.
The survey ran Jan. 6-7, shortly after Trump ordered the drone strike on Iranian commander Qassem Soleimani.
An unnecessary war created by an incompetent man who has no business being POTUS. I have no doubt he started this to distract from his impeachment & more evidence of his abuses of power. This is madness. #NoWarWithlran pic.twitter.com/xGmRdDgBW6
