On Tuesday evening, President Trump did what he always does when he’s in trouble: throw someone else under the bus.
This time it was his personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani—who recently made a claim that he has “insurance” against such an action.
During a radio interview with Bill O’Reilly on Tuesday, a former Fox News host, President Donald Trump attempted to distance himself from his personal lawyer’s efforts to dig up dirt on 2020 candidate Joe Biden in Ukraine.
“What was Rudy Giuliani doing in Ukraine on your behalf?” asked O’Reilly.
“Well, you have to ask that to Rudy,” Trump responded. “But Rudy…I don’t even know…I know he was going to go to Ukraine and I think he canceled the trip.”
“But you know, Rudy has other clients other than me,” he continued. “I’m one person-”
O’Reilly cut him off: “So you didn’t direct him to go there on your behalf?”
“No,” Trump said.

But what about Giuliani’s statements?
The investigation I conducted concerning 2016 Ukrainian collusion and corruption, was done solely as a defense attorney to defend my client against false charges, that kept changing as one after another were disproven.

With all the Fake News let me make it clear that everything I did was to discover evidence to defend my client against false charges.Dems would be horrified by the attacks on me, if my client was a terrorist. But they don’t believe @realDonaldTrump has rights. Justice will prevail

During a recent FOX News interview, Giuliani claimed that Trump wouldn’t throw him under the bus because he had “insurance.”
And that wasn’t even the first time that he hinted at blackmailing the President. He made the same claim in an earlier interview calling it “very, very good insurance.”
Should Trump be worried that Giuliani is ready to spill his secrets?
