‘Imagine what the conversations at home are like’: CNN stunned when Kellyanne Conway‘s husband suggests his wife should quit Trump

George Conway, Kellyanne Conway‘s husband, did a bombshell podcast with CNN senior legal analyst Preet Bharara, the former U.S. attorney in Manhattan.

Conway slammed the White House letter to Pelosi but at the very end of the segment it turns out he also suggested that people in Trump’s inner circle should resign.

Well, that would include his wife.

Bharara and Conway were discussing the letter written by the White House that outlined the administration’s refusal, which Conway called “trash” and “an excuse to prevent evidence, damning evidence, from reaching the public” before adding:

“The thrust of (the letter) is that there are some kind of constitutional obligations that the House has failed to meet that therefore render its impeachment inquiry illegitimate and unconstitutional, which is complete nonsense, because all the Constitution says is that the House has the sole power over impeachment.”

Conway has never really pulled his punches when it comes to his wife’s boss.

Kellyanne and George’s relationship can be called hard to make sense of, to say the least. This point was noted by CNN correspondent—Brianna Golodryga—a senior global affairs analyst who said Thursday morning, “We’ve been puzzled by this relationship” and “Imagine what the conversations at home are like.”

Indeed.
