July 2019 was the hottest month of any month on record on Earth, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration confirmed Thursday.

This July’s average global temperature was 62.1 degrees F, 1.71 degrees F warmer than the 20th century average and .05 degrees higher than July 2016, the previous record holder.

There were 66 all time record highs and zero record lows in the US in July.

Last month, the agency also announced that June of this year was the hottest June on record.
