Josephine Gillan, who played Marei in “Game of Thrones,” is appealing to the public for help after Israeli social services took her baby on August 4.
“I’m not allowed to see her or have contact! I have no idea where she is!” Gillan has said.
While the 31-year-old British-Israeli actress was being treated the last 3 months for postnatal depression, her baby was living with a loving, “amazing” friend, Gillan says.
But officials demanded her friend turn baby Gloria over to them or be put in jail. They claimed it was in the baby’s best interests to be put in foster care temporarily.
Social media is rallying around Gillan, claiming that her work history—she worked previously as a prostitute before becoming an actress who played a prostitute—should not be a valid reason for keeping her baby from her.
