New Line has just won one of the most hotly competed auctions of the year in Hollywood…for Olivia Wilde’s new thriller, “Don’t Worry, Darling.”

Wilde’s coming-of-age movie released in May made her the “hottest filmmaker of the season,” per Hollywood Reporter.
The new thriller features a 1950s housewife who discovers a “disturbing truth to her perfect life.” Wilde will star in the movie and also help produce.

The deal is unprecedented in Hollywood because filmmakers and producers of “Don’t Worry, Darling” will get 50 percent of the profits after the film breaks even.
