“Now is not the time for speaking politely. Now is the time to speak clearly,” climate-change teen activist Greta Thunberg declares on the first track of the 1975’s new album.

The album “Notes on a Conditional Form” won’t release until 2020, but lead singer Matty Healy and manager Jamie Osborne decided to release her track early.

To Osborne, “Greta represents an a priori truth…that the world has to change its basic construct and how it operates.”
Proceeds of the track go to Extinction Rebellion.
